Workshops
The perfect way to improve your dancing quickly. Workshops last for around 4 hours and include very intensive tuition. You might think that you have understood what the instructor has been teaching during your regular dance nights. However, there may be minor adjustment and style pointers you could pick up and use to improve your dancing.
Workshops are also a good opportunity to meet people who are at a similar level of achievement as yourself. It is likely that the people you met on your beginners workshop will be the same ones you meet on your intermediate.
Beginners.A Beginners' workshop is for you if you would like to learn up to 9 moves in a smaller group, with the instructor, demonstrator and helpers on hand to give you even more help.
It’s about the building blocks of the dance; the tips, tricks, spins, style and detail to help build your dancing skills. Ladies you learn about frame and follow. Men for you it’s lead and tension.
All the things we can’t teach on a regular dance night but that will take your dancing to the next level.
It’s fun, plenty of practice time and you’ll also meet other new dancers.
A great way to spend 4 hours.
You know the basics and now want to add more style, bigger moves, a walk, a dip or even a drop.
There is even a chance you will learn a move from Strictly Come Dancing or Dirty Dancing!
Intermediate workshops are aimed at the next step for competent Beginners for the first 2 hours and then we take it up another level for the last 2 hours as we improve your dance skills, building on your confidence and refining the style, rhythm and posture that turn you into a great dancer.
Again it’s about 9 moves, but this depends on each group as the Instructor chooses the moves to develop and challenge the group as a whole.
